Clean Your Brush

DAILY DRY METHOD

Always clean your brush after each use. Use the end of a tail comb or a wide, long tooth comb to lift and remove the hair.

MONTHLY WET METHOD

  1. Once a month, prepare a soapy lukewarm shampoo solution. Do not use hot water or harsh detergents to clean your brush. Do not soak or immerse wooden brushes since it will cause damage.
  2. For wooden brushes, hold the brush horizontally with the tips of the bristles pointing downward in the solution just allowing the cushion to make contact with the water.
  3. Allow the bristles to remain in the soapy water for 15-30 seconds.
  4. Rinse the bristles in a vertical position with the handle upwards in cold or lukewarm water to prevent water entering the small vent hole.
