The Magic mini Super Star Rake Curve has a twist as it stands at 6.5″. It’s just like its twin sister, the Magic mini Star Rake but with curved teeth. The teeth on this comb actually curve up instead of being straight. But don’t let the “curve” discourage you. It’s all in the technique!
These curve teeth are for bringing out those layered cuts, enhancing your roller sets or simple blending of straight styles. There are NO rules here! Use your imagination and have fun with the mini Super Star Rake Curve.

Love this comb as well, for me it worked a little better than the Magic Star Jumbo rake, especially when I used it on damp hair. The curved teeth helped with combing through my 4b hair with little resistance – it all depends on how I angled the comb while combing through my hair.
I am glad I bought this comb – absolutely love it.

I love this comb with the HS703WW comb! I was having a hard time making a decision between the jumbo and mini rakes-the mini turned out to be perfect for my hand size and hair. I agree with the other reviewer that the curved teeth make this comb unique because it basically turns it into a comb/pick.
I love this comb so much that I bought my niece one! I hope they keep selling these combs!

Since I have began using this comb I can really tell the difference it has made to combing my hair. There has been a really big decrease in the amount of shedding while combing my hair. This comb is fantastic!

I have collected most of the hotcombs combs and this one is my favorite of all. Makes sense why this is a 15 $ comb and is the most expensive of all. If you have curly or wavy hair like I do, then you want this comb, not the other regular mini rake. Reason being is the curve actually works with your hair texture and not against it. It detangles perfectly and preserves your curl or wave more so then the other combs with normal straight teeth. This is my honest opinion, and I also LOVE the service and how professional hotcombs staff is! Recommend them and their products to the fullest.

I have shoulder length thick curly hair that I can ‘ringlet’ when wet (so when it dries it takes up less room). Up until recently I’d only ever used an Afro comb in the shower once a week when washing my hair as found it too difficult to get a brush through my hair when dry. However 6 weeks ago (thanks to my hairdresser) I decided to try the ‘all natural’ approach ie no more shampoo, conditioner, sculpting gel to de-frizz etc – no products of any kind (best decision ever! – No more frizz on rainy days, and hair feels amazing).
Consequently I started out intending to just buy a Bristle brush to use to distribute the natural hair oils before showering, then I found this website and have bought a range of brushes and combs. I bought the HS2676 Matador Pick to replace my Afro comb (it’s great and not too small), and added the Magic Mini Super Star Rake Curve to the list mainly due to a reviewer who stated it was their favourite for curly hair of a range they’d bought. For my hair routine now (detangling hair when dry, then bristle brush before showering, afro comb in shower, leaving hair to dry naturally) I probably didn’t need to buy this comb and prefer the HS2676 Matador Pick and the HS5580 Styler Comb, but happy enough I added the Curve Rake to the order as saved by combining postage to New Zealand rather than regretting not trying it and ordering separately at a later stage.
